Casablanca ( colorized version )

2004-2006 78 x 73” collage on Okarawa paper with silk tissue A life of art accumulated in my brain and in my heart- my personal cabinet of wonder. Arteries and roads lead from my heart and brain to art I have experienced - my DNA of early art experiences (Guernica, rube Goldberg, Matisse’s swimmers) stabilized by (left side) a Casebeer vase representing ARAC residency and (on the right) a Coby Whitmore illustration representing my 15 years of weekly meetings with group of artists – the 2 experiences I call my MFA. Imbedded in my brain is the ant (MJT.org) and directly attached to my heart is Bonnard’s Studio with Mimosa.
